The capacity to undertake small river conservation work in Ukraine was developed. A series of conservation actions by small NGOs throughout Ukraine were developed and implemented by members of the Ukrainian Rivers network.

Project description:
The lessons learned and practical conservation improvements were shared through the URN via an active website and other electronic media such as CD ROMs. The actions were supported by training and capacity building work for the NGOs.
Project was financed by the Netherlands’ Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality.
